Spearfishing Tonga has a fleet of three custom built 30+ foot long charter vessels that it utilises from its new base at Eua Island during the spearfishing season.
All of our vessels are fitted with reliable Yamaha four stroke outboard motors and quality Garmin electronics. They have good custom built spearfishing gun racks and rod holders and are equally suitable for both spearfishing and line fishing.
One of the vessels is a 30 foot long, centre console, “Dorado” model panga that allow for a comfortable ride and great diver access. They have a large underfloor fuel capacity making any dive site in the region accessible.
The exciting news is with this re opening we have some great new additions including our new charter boat named Eua Explorer! Eua Explorer was custom built for Eua and is a deep V 33 foot panga powered by a new 300 HP Yamaha.
These vessels are in charter survey for up to a total of 11 people, (8 passengers and three crew). Realistically though we generally only take 4- 5 paying passengers whilst serious spearfishing or line fishing, two in water experienced guides and a dedicated licenced skipper.
The third vessel is used upon request and is a 30 foot long, locally built, “Carly” charter vessel allowing for easy diver access and has great all weather cover.
